New Order Intakes for TGW

We present some of the companies which recently decided to rely on TGW's solutions for their materials handling system.

Germany – TRW

Already in 2007, TRW installed a pallet warehouse at their German site located in Überherrn. Now, TGW will implement an extension of the existing system in October 2014. The system comprises half a kilometre of carton and tote conveyors as well as a minor extension of the unit load conveyor equipment by a frame lift incl. a retrieval station. The system will be controlled by a CI_LOG material flow controller with interface to the customer's warehouse management system. The installation is dimensioned for a performance of 1,200 cartons per hour.

Switzerland – OPO Oeschger

TGW modernizes the IT of the existing OPO Oeschger installation from 2006. The extensive installation with picking, automated mini-load warehouse, high bay rack and a radio-controlled warehouse, goods-in as well as dispatch will be updated to the latest TGW software including a new Warehouse Management System. Furthermore, the processes will be optimized, in order to prepare for the future. During the CI_LOG update, OPO Oeschger’s operation will hardly be disturbed; the modernization will take place during non-operating times. Go-live is scheduled for June 2015.

Australia - Direct Freight Express

TGW modernizes the existing installations at Direct Freight Express in Sydney, Melbourne and Brisbane in Australia. Australia’s largest independent national carrier has been a client of TGW since 2007 and had already been in contact with the TGW teams. Now an extensive research brought back the exchange between TGW and Direct Freight Express, in order to prepare an ideal offer for the customer. TGW supplies two sorter with 43 metres length each as well as an upgrade of the existing TGW sorter including two spare parts packages.
