Fastenal - USA

Fastenal, the largest distributor of industrial fasteners in the US, has again selected TGW to provide AS/RS solutions to one of their operations. The latest Fastenal facility to implement this technology will be in Modesto, California, US. This system will be used to replenish retail shops as well as wholesale and direct business channels. TGW has previously installed similar systems in five Fastenal facilities totalling approximately 50 stacker cranes that provide a goods-to-person approach to the unit pick function. Fastenal will also be looking to TGW to provide additional systems to various
operations in the future.

ASDA - United Kingdom

Asda, part of the Wal-Mart group is one of the world’s largest grocery retailers. Asda, has placed its second order with TGW Northern Europe to be installed at the latest Home Shopping Centre (HSC) located in Nottingham, UK. This facility is the third HSC within Asda’s network and will benefit Asda’s outbound capacity. TGW is delighted to have been selected by Asda as the preferred supplier for the next phase of the Home Shopping Centre roll out. The solution at each facility includes a tote conveyor transportation & sorting system and TGW STINGRAY technology providing a buffer store for the order totes and the sequenced delivery of the order totes to the despatch vehicle loading operation.

Richard Wolf - Germany

Medical engineering manufacturer Richard Wolf entrusts TGW Systems Integration with an extensive logistics installation. At their headquarters in Knittlingen, Germany, a mini-load warehouse with three aisles with STINGRAY shuttles will be implemented, which will be operated fully equipped with 52 shuttles. Furthermore, eight picking workstations as well as one goods-receiving and one goods-out workstation will be built. TGW Systems Integration will provide an interface to SAP EWM and enables the interplay of defined functionality and performance.
