First Goods-to-Person Forum a Success

From 29th September to 1st October, TGW Systems Inc. hosted its first Goods-to-Person Forum at the Gaylord Resort in Nashville, Tennessee. Specific, targeted companies were invited to attend this forum as guests of TGW Systems. Quality relationships were the focus of this get-together with insights into TGW’s world. The guests were presented with basic data about TGW and their goods-to-person technology. Current clients of TGW Systems, the Gap, Inc. and Wix Filtration joined the event and presented their new TGW installations. To get an even better understanding of what was presented, the guests were invited to the nearby Gap, Inc. distribution center in Gallatin, TN. Seeing the business “live” and operating illustrated the theoretical part perfectly. At the end of the event, so called “breakout sessions” where held where each invited guest could discuss their specific operational challenges with a representative of TGW. These breakout sessions were the beginning stages of developing a business case that would determine the next steps for TGW in securing new business with each respective invited guest. TGW was happy to share their know-how and had a lot of interesting discussions. Based on the success of this event, TGW Systems is planning on hosting future forums in early March of 2014, again in Nashville, TN.
