As Project Manager at TGW China you will coordinate our logistics projects with our customers. You will be responsible for the planning of the project at our Shanghai office as well as on the customer site.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Responsible for the project management and coordination. Accomplish the project on time with good quality
  • Order responsibility for performance, schedule, equipment and costs in the entire realisation process from order handover to end of warranty, thus ensuring the optimal order handling process (in-house and on site)
  • Overview of order-related technical documents, quality check as communication interface to the customer (checking contents and information for plausibility, knowledge of calculation tools used within the TGW Group, such as cycle time calculations, wheel pressure calculation, …)
  • Order planning with due consideration of installation and commissioning.
  • Responsible for implementation process management and decision of contractors. Report to the supervisor and purchase department
  • Coordination and optimization of all purchased parts in his projects
  • Responsible for the project quality control and process control. Collaboration with different departments and TGW units within the realisation process (IT-Rea, Installation Services, Purchasing, TGW Mechanics,…)
  • Maximization of the profit made on the order through an effective, professional and economical implementation of the customer's requirements and the specifications of the Sales and Solution Design departments with respect to performance, schedule and costs
  • Responsible for the clients’ project payment by coordinating with related department like Sales and Purchased Department
  • Provision of information to the superior as soon as escalations happen.
  • Order controlling (TAP; ACO; intermediate and final reports...) as well as organisation of documentation and traceability
  • Project documentation
  • Knowledge of TGW products and using skills. Optimum use and knowledge of TGW product range ( IT, AT and mechanical equipment)
  • Training for new employees assigned to him/her...
  • Coordination with sales, design and after sale service, to ensure the well implementation and good basic for further sales and services
  • Representation of the TGW Group on the market, in particular towards the customer
  • High customer satisfaction

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Project management, Controls, Mechanical design, Electrical design or related background with junior college or high degree
  • 3 or more years project management experience in Logistics industry
  • Good knowledge of miniload, conveyer  and other AS/RS equipment
  • Willing to travel long term
  • Strong leading, organization and communication ability
  • Familiar with CAD drawings
  • Excellent in Microsoft tools (Word, Excel, Outlook, Power point)
