France is an important market for TGW. The company’s systems and sub-systems are operating in some of the high performance distributions centres in the country.

“As a follow-up to the highly successful individual projects that have been implemented together with business partners in the French market for customers in sports articles distribution, apparel or e-commerce, the aim is to further establish TGW as systems integrator in the market. TGW designs, manufactures, installs, and services equipment like conveyors, high speed sorters, AS/RS, and their integration into a systems with its own software and controls technology. With more than 350 AS/R machines produced per year, TGW is certainly a global player in the material handling world” Gilles Baulard concludes. He will lead the local team as the managing director of TGW France. Gilles Baulard has 15 years of experience in the French material handling market in sales and managerial roles. He has been involved in the design and realisation of leading edge distribution centres for textile, E-Commerce, and food distribution.

TGW will take up a central position in this market with the new branch near Paris, gaining a significantly more direct access to the potential market. Moreover the new subsidiary enables TGW to provide its existing customers in the market with even better support.
