New Order Intakes for TGW

New Order Intakes
for TGW

We present some of the companies which recently decided to rely on TGW's solutions for their materials handling system.

SEW Usocome - France

In their new logistics facility in Brumath, France, 5,000 SKUs will be handled with about 4,500 orders per day. TGW France will supply an automated mini-load warehouse with 18,000 storage positions for the replenishment of the production areas. The warehouse will be served by ten Commissioners with double drive and a Combi Telescope load handling device. There will be a sequence buffer ahead of the seven picking stations. TGW will furthermore supply two automated destackers for full totes arriving stacked on trolleys, and two automated stackers for empty totes.

Lampa - Italy

Lampa, located near Mantova in Viadana, North of Italy, is a leading company in accessories and spare parts for cars, trucks, motorcycles and bicycles. With their main distribution center in Viadana, Lampa is active across the whole world. Lampa has entrusted TGW Italia with the automation of their distribution center. The solution TGW is going to implement consists of a mini-load warehouse with six aisles equipped with STINGRAY shuttles, five tote picking stations, two pallet picking stations, four Commissioners for the buffering of the products to be palletized, and two SlotStax for palletizing. The new system will be integrated into the existing installation of pallet cranes and a mini-load warehouse for totes. A new monorail system handles the pallets from the warehouse to the different working stations.

Coop - Switzerland

After the order for an extensive logistics centre at the Coop site in Schafisheim, Switzerland, TGW is happy about having closed a comprehensive service contract with the Swiss grocery giant: an entire multi-annual maintenance package including external equipment and 24/7 hotline that will be realised with a team of highly qualified technicians by TGW. As soon as the system goes live, TGW's service technicians will keep an eye on the installation comprised of four areas including a cooling machine, a freezer area, an empty packs centre and a storage area with a semi-automated picking.
